On Wednesday 8 June, Windsor House hosted a WWF Wear it Wild Day. Boys across RGS Prep sported different animals and wildlife by creating masks or face painting. The masks ranged from traditional to wild!
The day started with an assembly taken by Windsor pupils who spoke about the importance of wildlife and the ever-increasing fragility of the world’s ecosystems. The boys then participated in a parade around the athletics track to show off their incredible masks. There were beetles, butterflies, lions, tigers, pandas and elephants, to name a few. Windsor also held a ‘guess the number of pandas’ competition with the proceeds going to the World Wildlife Fund.
Everyone was in high spirits all day thanks to Windsor’s initiative to spread love and positivity throughout the school. Windsor boys wrote positive messages on post-it notes and put them up in the corridors. Staff and students alike made remarks about how it made them smile to read the happy and encouraging comments.
