RGS Guildford has established an exceptional educational reputation in the UK. We have decided to develop this by opening first class schools overseas. RGS Guildford Qatar opened in 2016, RGS Guildford Nanjing opened in 2020 and RGS Guildford Dubai in 2021. Our latest school is complete, and will be opening its doors, in Muscat, in September 2023.

These schools are being opened together with local partners and are long term collaborations which allow us to share our expertise globally while learning from other cultures. Our partners share our educational ethos and have the desire and resources to deliver international schools with fantastic facilities that will share our values.

The reasons for our international expansion are many: partnership; engagement in global cultures; enhanced reputation for the School; and an income which will be used primarily to support bursary funding for boys attending our school in Guildford.

We provide an outstanding British curriculum education based upon tradition and innovation, exceptional pastoral care, and an enriching range of extra-curricular opportunities. An inspiring, diverse education paves the way for students to face the challenges of a rapidly-changing world. RGS Guildford, Muscat

Our new school will open in Muscat in September 2023, in partnership with Sama Educational Company (Sama),

In the first year, RGSG Muscat will welcome students from Nursery to Year 4 (age 3 to 9 years) and will offer a British Curriculum. The school shares the same values and ethos of its parent school in the UK and will join an established family of schools.

The founding head of RGSG Muscat is leading educator, Justin Durling who brings with him over 20 years experience of running international schools. Read more about Justin here.

RGS Guildford, Qatar

RGS Guildford, Qatar is a private, British curriculum school for boys and girls, located in north Doha and was our first international school. In partnership with Al Qamra, it opened in 2016 as a Preparatory, followed by the Senior School in 2018. Pupil numbers are now in excess of 700. Our facilities are first class and our plans for the future are ambitious, with pupils aged 3 to 18 receiving an RGS Guildford education in Qatar. Due to its continued growth, the school expanded in 2021 with an exciting new dedicated well-appointed Senior School building.

RGS Guildford, Dubai

RGS Guildford, Dubai opened in September 2021 in partnership with Cognita. Now in its second year, the school community stands at over 700 and is a flagship in the region. Students at RGSG Dubai join 80 other schools owned and managed by Cognita across the globe. Cognita’s experience, combined with the long-standing educational expertise of RGS Guildford and our shared aspirations, ethos and values will ensure the school continues to go from strength to strength.

RGS Guildford, Nanjing

RGS Guildford, Nanjing Together with Gemdale Education, a major Chinese education company, we opened our first school in China in September 2020 in Nanjing, capital of the Jiangsu province. The school already has in excess of 450 students. Gemdale share our educational ethos commitment to deliver fantastically equipped international schools that share our values.
