The role of Apprentice Maintenance Assistant is both varied and rewarding. We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual who enjoys working as part of a larger team. No previous experience of working within a school is necessary but you will have a great attitude and a desire to learn.
You will work towards a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative standard. This is a two year course with a blended delivery, mixing Microsoft Teams and face to face training. All training will take place on site within your working hours.
The Royal Grammar School has a responsibility for and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The person appointed to this post will be required to apply for an enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the DBS.
