On Friday 16 June, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and eighteen intrepid members of staff “volunteered” to be sponged by students, organised by our Junior Charity Committee. The teachers took their sponging with good humour, including Mr Pressley when there were chants of “get the beard” and he ended up with the bucket on his head! Overall, over £200 was raised in just one hour – a huge spongecess!
As a community, we are proud to have raised over £36,000 through various charity initiatives this year. Thank you all for giving so generously.
