An impressive start to this term’s fixtures. Teams across the school have performed excellently and achieved great results across a range of sports.
The endurance team took part in the City of London Freeman’s School biathlon. The U10s finished 2nd and the U11s finished 1st, crowning RGS Prep as overall champions. A special mention to Joe and Zac who finished 1st and 2nd in the run and to Seb who swam two very fast lengths, ensuring the U10s finished 1st in the pool.
The U8 Blue As had a wonderful morning at the Football Festival hosted at Cranmore School. The boys improved game by game and were able to progress to the plate final to win a great match.
The U9s took participated in the Edgeborough Football Festival and represented the school admirably. The boys performed exceptionally well, with the U9 As showing great perseverance against some tough opposition. A huge congratulations to the U9 Bs for their victory in the tournament.
It was then our U11s turn to showcase their football skills at the Surbiton High 5-a-side tournament. The B team made it to the plate semi-final, narrowly losing in golden goal extra time to Sussex House. The A team won the tournament finishing 2-0 winners in the final against Hampton Prep A team.
Well done to all involved! It looks to be a very promising season and we look forward to upcoming fixtures.
