Podcast 2: Nepal & Vietnam Expeditions

In the second instalment of the international podcast series, I was joined by Dr Fanti-Byrne, Ms Spencer, Hugo in the Upper Sixth and Ollie, Ollie T and Will in the Lower Sixth to discuss this year’s expeditions to Nepal and Vietnam.

Dr Fanti-Byrne started the conversation by discussing the purpose behind our joint expeditions with Tormead School and, in particular, why our partnership with Bhu Pu Sainik School in Besishahar, Nepal was established. Ms Spencer and the students then spoke about different aspects of their expeditions, such as any anxieties they felt in the lead-up to the trips, their first impressions of the country they visited, their experiences of trekking and participating in charitable activities and finally, how visiting Nepal and Vietnam has changed their outlook on life.
