On Wednesday evening, we held the latest Careers Seminar in our series, this time specialising in Finance; always a popular topic and a packed house in the auditorium with 300 RGS students, parents and also students from six local schools. It was great to welcome back OGs Ryan Harding ’14, Sam Green ’18, Ross Groom ’11 and Tom Barratt ’13 to share their advice and experiences about life and work in the world of finance. Mr Dunscombe hosted the panel of OGs for an evening of Q&A which unlocked some fascinating insights and plenty of top tips and advice from internships to mentoring, training, study/exams and work/life balance as well as the nuts and bolts of what their jobs actually involve.
