RGS Muscat recently welcomed the International Chief Executive for a two-day visit aimed at strengthening connections, exchanging insights, and experiencing the RGS Muscat community in action. Frequent visits like this are crucial to fostering collaboration between our international schools and the founding RGS Guildford. They ensure alignment with the school’s core values and create opportunities for meaningful dialogue among staff, students, and leadership.
The packed agenda underscored the significance of this visit, providing an in-depth look at day-to-day life at RGS Muscat.
On the first day, the Chief Executive was warmly greeted at the school gates by staff and enjoyed observing the vibrant morning arrival of students. This was followed by a school tour led by enthusiastic RGS Muscat students, offering a first-hand look at the heart of the school’s community and its dedicated learners.
The morning continued with a strategic meeting with the Senior Leadership Team to discuss ongoing projects and explore opportunities for enhancing the educational experience for students. Following this, a promotional video was filmed with Head of RGS Muscat, Miss Laura Griffiths, highlighting key aspects of the school’s student-centered approach and international outlook.
Throughout the two days, Mr Ukiah’s itinerary included observing various lessons, providing an authentic glimpse into the engaging learning environment that students at RGSG Muscat enjoy.
An informal meeting with the operations team, led by Ahoud, shed light on the logistical and operational elements that support the school’s daily activities.
In the evening, he attended an Open Evening, connecting with parents to discuss the school’s aspirations and hear their thoughts and hopes for their children’s education. The event illustrated the strong sense of community at RGSG Muscat.
