Poetry, Performance and Creativity
Pupils from RGS Prep and RGS Senior took part in the annual Poetry Together event at Abbot’s Hospital, sharing original poems on the theme of Memories and Dreams with residents. The event formed part of a national initiative designed to bring together younger and older generations through poetry. The afternoon concluded with performances of classic Beatles songs by the RGS Barbershop group.
Second Form pupils also welcomed historical novelist Ally Sherrick, author of Rebel Heart. The session provided an engaging insight into historical fiction and creative writing.
