Outdoor Learning & Sustainability

  • Parents were also invited to join the combined RGS & GHS Parents’ and Staff Choir ahead of a major 2027 performance of Handel’s Messiah.

Sporting Success

Sport has enjoyed an exceptional start to the year:

  • 162 fixtures played
  • 345 goals scored
  • Three festival trophies won

Highlights included:

  • A highly successful Football Development Morning attended by 80 children from Nursery to Year 6.
  • The start of the swimming season with strong performance.
  • Numerous fixtures, festivals and rugby opportunities throughout the half term.

Harvest Festival

We finish half term on a high with a wonderful Harvest Festival. Songs, poems and readings made for a joyful celebration, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, a minibus full of donations for the Guildford Food Bank was loaded by our Year 6 pupils and readied for delivery. It was a fitting way to end the half term, reflecting the kindness, community spirit and values that are such an important part of life at RGS Prep.
