Introducing the Digital Levy
The Digital Levy provides each student with a school-supported Microsoft Surface, along with a suite of wraparound apps and services, including insurance, safeguarding apps, technical support, and cloud storage essential to their education at RGS.
All RGS students are required to bring their Microsoft Surface and Microsoft Surface Pen to school each day to support their learning. The Surface is used across the curriculum and is vital for a range of school functions, including homework submissions and accessing learning resources.
A charge will be added to the termly bill in advance, covering the cost of this service. Under this scheme, the School loans a Microsoft Surface to the student, meaning that parents do not need to purchase any hardware or software.
Students also have the option to take ownership of the Surface upon leaving the School.
All new students are automatically enrolled into the Digital Levy, as students are required to use the provided device in school.
Benefits of the School’s Digital Levy
The Digital Levy covers everything a student needs to support their learning at RGS, including:
- A Microsoft Surface tablet and keyboard, Surface Pen, protective case, screen protector and charger.
